With much respect for what the "River" has to say, I would doubt that Vilsack or Harkin were any better at proposing better legislation beyond something "symbolic". Vilsack believes everything ISU ever told him, and since corporate giants fund many of the chairs there and build buildings for the institution, what possible impact does that have! Biden sees CO2 pipelines as a savior of the oil industry and currently is promoting them, never mind how dangerous they are to Iowan's and the fact that the end result of these pipe lines is the production of even more greenhouse gas. Other countries use the CO2 generated in greenhouses where the plants can use it to grow and create oxygen, a much more sensible approach that takes no high pressure pipelines that will destry good Iowa crop land and the possibility of killing many Iowan's in te process.
