While fishing down by Motor last Wednesday morning it sounded like the gobblers had me completely surrounded. Beautiful morning on the river even though the fish weren’t interested in my offerings. Thanks for the imagery.
You continue to have an eye for reflecting nature. I was going to use "capture", instead of reflecting, but did not seem appropriate. Going along with the title of your substack, you also have an ear for listening, a touch for feeling and probably a nose, too.
I enjoy your descriptions of nature, but don’t understand why you have to include violence and death. It is very disturbing to me. It is unnecessary. Please consider just observing the wildlife and stop the killing.
